North Florida String Festival

Florida State University, College of Music
The North Florida String Festival is a solo and ensemble festival sponsored by the Florida State University chapter of American String Teacher Association. It provides students of all ability levels an opportunity to perform for an adjudicator and receive constructive feedback. It is an experience that will help students excel at their instrument and work to become a better musician.

Where? Florida State University, College of Music, Kuersteiner Music Building
Applications received/postmarked by January 18, 2019, $10 per solo, $15 per ensemble.
Applications received/postmarked by February 1, 2019, $15 per solo, $20 per ensemble.
Students must have an original copy of the music to present to the adjudicator. Students may use their own for the audition.
Students must arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled performance slot
Students who opt to perform in a solo and an ensemble must provide two application, one for the solo and one for the ensemble.
An ensemble is defined as two or more performers in a group.
Parking: You will be allowed to park in the parking garages on Saturday. Avoid parking in the Presbyterian Church lot across the street from the College of Music.
